A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING PERS
EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS
FOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has the
authority to implement Government Code Section 20691;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
adopted a written management compensation policy which specifically
provides for the normal member contributions to be paid by the
employer;
WHEREAS, one of the steps in the procedures to implement
Section 20691 is the adoption by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim of a Resolution to commence said Employer Paid Member
Contributions (EPMC);
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
identified the following conditions for the purpose of its election
to pay EPMC:
This benefit shall apply to all Management Employees.
This benefit shall consist of paying three and one-half
percent (3h%) of the normal member contributions as EPMC
as of July 1, 2000, and seven percent (7%) of the normal
member contributions as EPMC as of July 1, 2001.
The effective date of this Resolution shall be June 23,
2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the city of Anaheim elects to pay EPMC, as set forth above.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 20~h day of .T,,-e ,
