A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR
WATER PURPOSES LOCATED GENERALLY ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF KATELLA AVENUE EAST OF NINTH STREET
(Abandonment No. 00-6A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the llth day of July, 2000, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that
certain easement for water utility purposes, more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of that certain blanket water
easement initially granted to Dyke Water
Company in that deed recorded at Book 3126,
Page 285 of Official Records of Orange County,
which portion lies within the borders of Tract
No. 3278 recorded in Book 104, Pages 8, 9 and 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorize to record, or cause to be recorded, a copy
of this resolution in the Office of the County Recorder of the
County of Orange.

City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of July,
2000.
