A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
GENERAL TRUCK DRIVERS UNION, LOCAL 952,
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with officials and
employee representatives of the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 952, relating to the effects
of the City of Anaheim not being selected for the parking concession with Anaheim Sports, Inc.;
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the Letter of Understanding dated October 19, 1997,
between the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the Union is in agreement with the recommendations contained in said
Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the best
interest of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that
the Letter of Understanding dated October 19, 1997 between the General Truck Drivers Union,
Local 952 and the City of Anaheim, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated be
reference herein, is hereby approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 4th day of November, 1997.

GENERAL TRUCK DRIVERS UNION, LOCAL 952
AND THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM
The PARTIES, having met and conferred in good faith regarding the effects /impacts of the City
of Anaheim not being selected for the parking concession with Anaheim Sports, Inc., have
agreed to the following to mitigate the effects of such determination:
Employees working in classifications listed in Appendix "A" at Anaheim
Stadium only from March 29, 1996 to September 30, 1996 who have not
been offered a transfer to the Anaheim Convention Center after indicating
an interest in transfer and being interviewed shall be eligible to be paid a
one -time payment in the amount listed below during the pay period that
includes September 30, 1997.

15 years to 24 years
10 years to 14 years
5 years to 9 years
1 4 years
less than 1 year
$50 per full year of service
$40 per full year of service
$30 per full year of service
$20 per full year of service
$50 lump sum payment per employee
$0
The years of service shall be calculated using the September 30, 1996 date.
