A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES LOCATED NORTH OF
THE SOUTH OF LA PALMA AVENUE AND WEST OF
WHITE STAR AVENUE (Abandonment No. 99-17A}
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of July, 2000, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of ,
particularly described as follows:
That portion of that certain easement for
road and public utility purposes described in
a document recorded as Instrument Number 92-
368301 in Official Records of Orange County,
which lies within Parcel 7 of Parcel Map No.
99-126 as shown on a map filed in Book 311,
Pages 22 through 25 of Parcel Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder, County of
Orange, State of California.
provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate
the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public
service easement and shall not be construed to convey or
relinquish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to
said street, highway or public service easement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City
of Anaheim a quitclaim deed to the easement abandoned hereby.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
