2000-146RESOLUTION NO. 2000R-146 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT EASEMENT FOR PIPELINES FOR WATER PURPOSES LOCATED SOUTH OF ADDINGTON DRIVE AND EAST OF THE 91 FREEWAY (Abandonment No. 00-8A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, on the 25th day of July, 2000, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of , particularly described as Yollows: See Exhibit A attached hereto, provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public service easement and shall not be construed to convey or relinquish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to said street, highway or public service easement. MAYOR OF KD CITY OF ANAHEIM ATTEST: CT~ CL~RK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ABANDONMENT 00-SA EXHIBIT "A" LEGAL DESCRIPTION The non-exclusive easement for Underground pipelines for water purposes as described in the Director's Deed recorded December 12, 1977 in Book 12488, Page 1193 of Official Records of Orange County, California, together with that portion of the easement and right-of-way for underground 14 inch water pipeline as described in the Deed to Peralta Hills Water Company recorded June 15, 1948, in Book 1653, Page 489 of said Official Records that is included within the land described in the directors Deed recorded March 24, 2000 as Instrument No. 20000151116 of said Official Records as said last mentioned deed is a portion of Lots 3, 4, 22, 23 and 25 of the J.D. Taylor Tract, as shown on a map ['fled in Book 5, Page 16 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County; that portion of Lot 22 of the J. D. Taylor Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 36, Pages 58, 59 and 60 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County; and that portion of Glen Avenue, abandoned by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, entered in Minute Book 7, Page 58.
