A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO
JOIN THE ARROYO SECO LIBRARY NETWORK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires to
join the Arroyo Seco Library Network; and
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees that Anaheim participating
libraries will comply with all provisions of the Library of
California Act and Regulations and conditions of membership
within the Network; and
WHEREAS, the City Council understands that Library Network
participation will not supplant current funding of Anaheim
library operations but rather is intended to enhance services and
resources provided through network participation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees that the Anaheim
participating libraries will:
Share resources and services with other members of
the Arroyo Seco Library Network.

Provide resources and services for other members
of the Arroyo Seco Library Network.
Meet the minimum resource-sharing performance
standards of the Arroyo Seco Library Network.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That Membership of the City of Anaheim
participating libraries in the Arroyo Seco Library Network is
authorized.
2. That the City Council authorizes and directs Carol
Stone, City Librarian, to sign the Arroyo Seco Library Network
Membership Application Form on behalf of the City and to take
such other actions and execute such other documents as are deemed
necessary to complete the membership process.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of
this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 191-h day of September
2000.
