A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR
ROAD, PIPELINE, PUBLIC UTILITY AND SLOPE
PURPOSES LOCATED EAST OF FAIRMONT BOULEVARD
AND NORTH OF CANYON RIM
(Abandonment No. 99-4A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of August, 2000, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of certain
easements, particularly described as follows:
Those certain easements described in Exhibit
UA", attached hereto and incorporated by
reference herein;
provided, however, that this action shall serve only to terminate
the rights of the public to use said street, highway, or public
service easement and shall not be construed to convey or
relinquish any property interest of the City of Anaheim in and to
said street, highway or public service easement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver to the owner of the property encumbered by the easement
being abandoned hereby a quitclaim deed at such time as any
conditions set forth in this resolution shall have been
satisfied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 8th day of August,
2000.

Those certain easements for pipeline, road, public utilities, and slope purposes
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, which are
more particularly described as follows.
That portion of an easement for pipeline purposes, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 13, Page 45, of Records of Surveys, Records of Orange
County, which lies within the boundaries of Tract 15565, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 802, Pages 44 through 46, of Miscellaneous Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.
That portion of an easement for road purposes, as sho~vn on a Map recorded in
Book 32 Page 36 of Records of Surveys, Records of Orange County, which
lies within the boundaries of Tract 15565, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 802, Pages 44 through 46, of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County.
That portion of an easement for pipeline purposes, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 32 Page 36 of Records of Surveys, Records of Orange
County, which lies within the boundaries of Tract 15565, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 802, Pages 44 through 46, of Miscellaneous Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.
That portion of an easement for public utilities, recorded February 10, 1944,
in Book 1241, Page 431, Official Records, which lies within the boundaries of
Tract 15565, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 802, Pages 44 through 46,
of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
That portion of an easement for Slope purposes in favor of the City of
Anaheim, recorded May 9, 1977, in Book 12185, Page 1269, of Official
Records, which lies within the boundaries of Tract 15565, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 802, Pages 44 through 46, of Miscellaneous Maps in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.
Lot "C" of Tract 15565, an irrevocable offer of dedication to the City of
Anaheim for Landscape Slope Maintenance, Drainage and Open Space, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 802, Pages 44 through 46, of
Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
