A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM MODIFYING THE
AMOUNT OF THE PARK IN-LIEU FEE FOR
CERTAIN HOUSING BUILT OR SPONSORED
BY THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AND MODIFYING RESOLUTION NO. 96R-
102
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance
establishing a formula for determining park and recreation land
or in-lieu fee requirements for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the park in-lieu fees were established by
Resolution No. 96R-102; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has
contributed funds to the City for construction of a Community
Center, a facility to which such In-Lieu fees would be applied;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to freeze the
park in-lieu fees for Anaheim Redevelopment Agency projects to
permit the Agency to recoup a portion of its contribution to the
Community Center and thereby encourage the construction of units
by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any park in-lieu fees
advanced to the City of Anaheim by the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency pursuant to that Second Cooperation Agreement shall not be
increased for units built or sponsored by the Anaheim
Redevelopment Agency for which building permits are issued prior
to November 1, 2001.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day o~December, 1996.
