A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE JOB TRAINING
PARTNERSHIP ACT TITLES II-A/II-C MASTER
SUBGRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE
TERM OF JULY 1, 1996 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1999.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been designated by the
Governor as a Service Delivery Area (SDA) under the Job Training
Partnership Act (JTPA); and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is entitled to receive
certain funds under the JTPA; and
WHEREAS, the State of California requires the approval
of a Subgrant Agreement in order for the City to be eligible to
receive these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1) That Subgrant Agreement No. G700081, attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference
allocating funds in the amount of Nine Hundred Sixty-Three
Thousand, Six Hundred Forty Dollars ($963,640.00) to the City of
Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, approved;
2) That the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute said Master Subgrant Agreement and
modifications thereto on behalf of the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of June
1996.
