96-084 RESOLUTION NO. 96R- 84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING AN AGREEMENT WITH
MUNICIPAL RESOURCE CONSULTANTS AND REVOKING
THE APPOINTMENT OF MUNICIPAL RESOURCE
CONSULTANTS AS THE CITY'S AGENT FOR EXAMINING
THE RECORDS OF THE STATE BOARD OF
EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did, by agreement dated
for purposes of identification February 25, 1992, enter an
agreement with Municipal Resource Consultants for review of sales
and use tax collections; and
WHEREAS, said agreement permits either party to
terminate said agreement on ten day notice.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of th City of Anaheim
does hereby:
1. Authorize the City Manager to terminate said agreement
by giving ten days notice of termination.
2. Terminate the designation of Municipal Resource
Consultants as agents of the City of Anaheim to review
the records of the State Board of Equalization
pertaining to sales and use taxes.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of June, 1996.
