96-078 RESOLUTION NO. 96R-78 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 92R-121 WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR SELECTED UNREPRESENTED PART-TIME CLASSIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated May 14, 1996, that Resolution No. 92R-121 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth, effective May 10, 1996; and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 92R-121 which established rates of compensation for classifications designated as Unrepresented Part-Time; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the aforementioned amendment is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: Section 1. Effective May 10, 1996, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in any of the job classifications listed below shall be allocated to salary schedules in the Salary Schedule Master as follows: Classification Schedule Step Assistant Box Office Treasurer-Convention Center 1384 E Assistant Scoreboard Director A 1599 A-E Box Office Treasurer-Convention Center 1496 E Club House Attendant 0683 E Convention Center Relief Events Supervisor 1762 E Crowd Control Supervisor-Convention Center 1166 E Event Treasurer-Stadium 1410 E Game Clock Operator 0812 E Head Parking Lot Attendant-Convention Center 1229 E Head Parking Lot Attendant-Stadium 1229 E Head Parking Lot Cashier-Convention Center 1250 E Head Parking Lot Cashier-Stadium 1250 E Head Ticket Seller-Stadium 1179 E Head Ticket Taker-Stadium 1143 E Head Usher-Convention Center 1085 E Head Usher-Stadium 1192 E Public Address Announcer 0880 E Scoreboard Operator A 0910 A-E Video Display Operator A 1453 J-E F:\DEPT\HRD\STAFFREP\SF1839VK Section 3. For employees, who are enrolled in the Public Employee's Retirement System, assigned to classifications listed in Section 1 of this Resolution, 3.25% of the 7% statutorily required employee contribution to the Public Employee's Retirement System (PERS) shall be paid by the City as employer paid member contributions authorized by Section 20615 of the California Government Code; and 3.75% of the 7% statutorily required employee contribution shall be paid by the employee and shall be considered employer contributions under Section 414 (h)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. Section 4. Employees who are enrolled in the 457(P) Deferred Compensation Plan, assigned to classifications listed in Section 1 of this Resolution, shall have 7.6% of their compensation earned withheld by the City as a participant contribution under this Plan. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 92R-121 is May 10, 1996. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as amended herein, Resolution No. 92R-121 shall remain in full force and effect.
