96-051 RESOLUTION NO. 96R-51 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM (CTFP) IMPROVEMENT PROJECT(S) TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to implement the transportation improvements listed on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; and WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby requests the Orange County Transportation Authority to allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application for funding from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City as required and shall be used to aid the City in implementing those improvements set forth on Exhibit "A" for which funding is approved.
