96-044 RESOLUTION NO. 96R -44
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS, LOCATED
GENERALY SOUTH OF ORANGEWOOD AVENUE AND WEST OF
HASTER STREET, AS "PERMIT PARKING ONLY" STREETS
WHEREAS, Section 14.32.450 of Chapter 14.32 of Title 14
of the Anaheim Municipal Code authorizes the City Council to, by
resolution, designate any streets, or portions thereof, as "Permit
Parking Only" streets; and,
WHEREAS, due to parking congestion on those streets
hereinafter set forth, the City Council hereby finds and determines
that parking on those street should be limited to persons
possessing permits; and,
WHEREAS, the establishment of a "Permit Parking Only"
area on the streets hereinafter set forth is necessary to enhance
the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of the area,
the users of the public streets and the public at large.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, that parking on the following City streets shall
be limited to those persons possessing a permit to park:
Permit Parkinq Area No. 4.
The following streets are hereby designated as Permit Parking
Area No. 4 for which a valid parking permit shall be required to
park:
1. Bluebell Avenue from Haster Street to Oertley Drive.
2. Cliffwood Avenue from Haster Street to Oertley Drive.
3. Oertley Drive from Orangewood Avenue to Wilken Way.
4. Wilken Way from Haster Street to Oertley Drive.
Nothing contained in this resolution shall be construed to
authorize parking or stopping where such parking or stopping is
otherwise prohibited.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
city Council of the City of Anaheim this 26 d~ , 1996.
