96-019 RESOLUTION NO. 96R-19 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF ONE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, by Resolution No. 94R-249, has previously submitted to the Orange County Transportation Authority the fifty-four transportation improvement projects listed in Exhibit A attached hereto; and WHEREAS, the city of Anaheim has been declared by the Orange County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and WHEREAS, the city of Anaheim will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Program Procedures Manual; WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is proceeding with a Harbor Boulevard widening project north of Ball Road necessary to match improvements to be implemented by Caltrans with the I-5 widening; and WHEREAS, the project was approved by the Growth Management Area 2 elected officials at their meeting of November 15, 1995; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Orange County Transportation Authority is hereby requested to allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to the Orange County Transportation Authority from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs for improvements identified on Harbor Boulevard north of Ball Road.
