Section 2.—That-no'person or persona shall know- ingly lease, rent or permit any house, tenement or roo�g, or any part thereof, within the corporate lim- itsof the city of Anaheim, to any person or persons, for purposes of prostitution or fornication, and no person or persons shall permit any house,; teneyaent or room, or any part thereof, over which theefbave control, to be used or occupied for such purpose. Section 8.—That any person or persons found guilty of violating this ordinance shall be fined in a sum not less than ten (10) dollars nor exceeding one hundred (100) dollars, or imprisonment for a term not exceeding twenty-five days for each offense. Section 4.—The City Clerk shall cause this ordi- nance to be published once in the AxARM* GAZETTE, a newspaper published in the city of Anaheim, and thereupon and thereatter it shall take effect and be in full force.
