95-160 RESOLUTION NO. 95R -160
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
QUITCLAIM DEED TO A PORTION OF AN UNACCEPTED
EASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, an easement for public utility purposes was
offered to the City of Anaheim on Map of Tract 14697; and
WHER~S, said easement has not as yet been accepted by
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, due to inadvertence and error, certain private
improvements have been constructed which slightly encroach into
the easement; and
WHEREAS, the staff of the Utility Department has
determined that the City may locate all of its required utility
services in-the portion of the easement not encroached upon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council
does authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and record a
quitclaim deed to one-half foot of the public utility easement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 12 day of September
