95-043 RESOLUTION NO. 95R- 43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CouNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF ELIGIBILITY FOR
SEVERANCE PAY
WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 16, 1991, approved and adopted Resolution No. 91R-112~
which provided severance benefits for employees subject to layoff: and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92R-16 extended the availability of the severance benefits to
December 31, 1991; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 93R-7 further extended the availability of the severance benefits to
December 31~ 1993~ and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94R-18 further extended the availability of the severance benefits to
December 3 l, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the conditions which prompted the adoption of Resolutions Nos. 91 R- 112, 92R- 16.
93R-7 and 94R-18 continue to exist: and
WHEREAS, the best interests of the City continue to be served by providing severance benefits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. All provisions of Resolution No. 91R-112 as previously amended are hereby extended for
the additional period commencing January 1, 1995 and expiring on June 30, 1995;
2. Eligibility for the pay and benefits authorized under this Resolution shall terminate on
June 30, 1995 unless extended by the City Council:
3. The City Council reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the severance
benefits program at any time.
The Foregoing Resolution is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
this 21st day of March~ 1995.
