95-037 RESOLUTION NO. 95R-37 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING PORTIONS OF CHARTRES STREET AND JANSS STREET (92-8A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and, WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law; and, WHEREAS, on the 7th day of March, 1995, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of Chartres Street between Resh Street and Harbor Boulevard and Janes Street between Lincoln Avenue and Chartres Street, as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit A and subject to the conditions precedent hereinafter set forth. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this resolution is recorded in the office of the Recorder of Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange upon the written certification of the Director of the Public Works Department that each of the following conditions or events have been complied with or have occurred: 1. Provision shall be made for a minimum 20 foot wide opening gate and access for City Fire, Police and Maintenance purposes. 2. The irrevocable offer of dedication of the north half of Lincoln Avenue, to a half-width of sixty feet, from Harbor Blvd. to Resh Street shall be granted to the City of Anaheim for street and utility purposes. 3. That a corner cut-off at the southwest corner of Harbor Blvd., and Cypress Streets, satisfactory to the Director of the Public Works Department, shall be dedicated to the City of Anaheim. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of March, 1995.
