95-036 RESOLUTION NO. 95R- 36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE GENERAL TRUCK DRIVERS UNION, LOCAL 952
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with officials and
employee representatives of the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 952, to extend the current
Memorandum of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated February 17, 1995, between the parties has
been prepared and signed, extending the current Memorandum Of Understanding, said amendment
to be effective upon execution of said Letter of Understanding: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to approve said Letter of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that the Letter of Understanding dated February 17, 1995. between the General Truck Drivers
Union, Local 952, and the City of Anaheim, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
by reference herein, is approved, and said Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended in
accordance with the terms of said Letter of Understanding.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 7~:h day of March, 1995.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING

And the
CITY OF ANAHEIM
AFTER meeting and conferring the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 952, and the City
of Anaheim, agree that the Memorandum of Understanding between the General Truck Drivers
Union, Local 952 and the City of Anaheim for the period February 7, 1992 through February 2,
1995, signed by the parties on March 12, 1992 shall remain in full force and effect through
February 1, 1996.
