RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI~ CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO AND CALLING FOR A
JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR THE RIVER VALLEY REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, California (the "City Council")
did duly pass and adopt Ordinance No. 4463 on November 29, 1983, and did thereby adopt and
approve the Redevelopment Plan for the River Valley Redevelopment Project (the
"Redevelopment Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan was amended by the City Council by Ordinance
No. 3; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") is considering the
adoption of a proposed amendment ("Amendment No. 3") to the Redevelopment Plan and has
prepared a proposed amendment to the Redevelopment Plan therefore; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33458 and 33355 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law, California Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq., a joint public
hearing on the proposed Amendment No. 3 may be held with the consent of the Agency and the
City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby consents to, and, calls for a joint public hearing
of the Agency and the City Council on the proposed Amendment No. 3 to the Redevelopment
Plan for the River Valley Redevelopment Project. The time and date of such joint public
hearings shall be determined by the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby authorized and directed
to, in cooperation with the Agency's Executive Director, prepare, publish and mail such notices
and documents and do all other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this
resolution.
