That there be submitted to the qualified electore 16 of said city at .such election the question whether the several mem 17 hers of the Board of Trustees of said city shall ltecaive the sum 18 of Ten dollars (.10.00) per month each for their services .v such 19 members of the Board of Trustees of said city, and that there be 20 printed on the ballots used at such election the following in ad - 21 dition to other matter required by law to be printed thereon, to - 22 wit; "Shall the several members of the Board of Trustees of the 23 City of ,A;aaheim receive the sum of Ten dollars ("110.00) per month 24 each as compensation for their services as such Trustees?" And 25 there shall be printed apposite such question on said ballots, on 26 separate lines, the word "YES" and the word "NO." If an elector 27 shall stamp a cross (%) in the voting square after the printed 28 word "YE vote shall be counted in favor of the adoption of 29 such if he shall stamp a cross(X) after the word "NO" 30 his vote shall be counted against the adoption of the same; and 31 i a majority of such electors voting at such election shall vote 32 'n favor o f such question, from and after the first day of May, 1916, the, several meml4rs of staid Board of Trustees shall receive such compensation. 9 4 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 SACTION 8. At such election the polls must be opened at six o'clock in the morninC of said 10th day of April, 1916, and must be kept open until covin O'clock in the afternoon of said day, Then the polls shall be closed, except as provided by Section 1164 of the Political Code of the State of California. Notice of said election shall be given by the City Clerk of the said city by publishing a notice thereof in the "Ana- heim Gazette", a weekly newspaper of General circulation, publish - ad and circulated in said city, for two successive weeks prior to said election, which said notice shall state the character of said election, the names of the offices to be voted on and filed at such election, the question to be submitted to the voters at such election, the number and location of the several precincts, plac*s whore the polls shall be located, the names of the persons composing the several Boards of Election, the day when ,said--W:,L-*0. tion shall be hold and the tirzio when the polls shall be opened and the time when the polls shall be closed.
