AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
9L -- SERIFS 1960-61 , in Reclassification No.
F-60-61-32 , recommending an amendment of Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a change in the boundaries
of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after
having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as pre-
scribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to
consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make
findings, summaries of its hearings, and did recommend a
change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No.
94 -- SERIES 1960-61 of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 81h day of
November D 19 60 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, atil'.e time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did txxipm adopt Resolution (s) No. (s)
6470 a finding and determining that Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or
changes in the boundaries of zone should be made as set forth
in said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) No.(s)
6470 , certain conditions and requirements
were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That portion of the South half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South,
Range 10 gest, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, as per map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscel-
1-3neous Maps, in the, Office of the County Recorder of
said County, lying West,and Southwest of the following
described line:
Beginning at a point on the South line of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 26, distant thereon North 89° 581
5011 East 175.90 feet from the center of said Section 26,
said point also being on the center line of Orangewood
Avenue, LO.00 feet wide, as described in the deed to the
County of Orange, recorded in Book 231, page 230, of Deeds;
thence at right angles to said South line, North 00 Olt
1011 West. 20.00 feet to the Northerly line of said Orange-
wood Avenue; thence North 651 051 101' East 68.98 feet;
thence North 110 24: 0211 West 305.09 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a
radius of 220.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said
curve, through an angle of 240 401 0011 an arc distance
of 94.71 feet; thence tangent to said curve, North 360
04t 0211 West 90.87 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 970.00
feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve, through an
angle of 40 46t 13" an arc distance of 80.76 feet to the
point of tangency of said curve with a line parallel with
and distant 60.00 feet Southwesterly measured at: right
angles from the Southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad Company's 100 foot right-of-way, being the North-
east line of the parcel of land conveyed to State of Calif-
ornia, by deed registered as certificate of title No. 8481,
in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of said County;
thence along said parallel line North 400 50t 15" West to
the West line of said Northeast quarter of said Section 26.
EXCEPT the North 250.00 feet thereof, measured along the
West line.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion thereof lying South of a line
parallel with and 40.00 feet North of the said South line
of the Northeast quarter;

now is Ni -1, LIGHT -MANUFACTURING ZONE (RESTRICTED), and that it
be changed to and incorporated in r--1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE,
subject to the following conditions:
1. That the buildings to be erected on subject property
shall be constructed substantially in accordance with
the plans presented to the City Council and on file
with. the City of Anaheim.
2. That there shall be only one opening or driveway on
Orangewood Avenue.
3. That a 15 -foot building line setback shall be estab-
lished along, Manchester Avenue, and that said 15 -foot
setback area shall be landscaped and the landscaping
maintained.
4. That off-street parking shall be provided as follows:
One space per 500 square feet of floor area.
for industrial use; and
One space per 1,000 square feet for warehousing.
5. That the outdoor storage areas shall be enclosed by
a fence 6 feet in height; and that the outdoor storage
shall be limited to 6 feet in height.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Nap shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
