ally in the City of Anaheim within
fifteen (15) days after the passage
hereof and this same shall take
effect and be in force thirty (30)
days from and after its final pass-
age.
SECTION 7. That the City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim shall cer-
tify and file certified copies of this
Qrdinance with the County Asses-
sor, County Auditor, County Tax
Collector and County Treasurer of
th ' .County of Orange following its
adaption and on or before' the first
Monday in February. 1951.

WHEAS, the City Council finds that it would be
more economical, and would result in a savings to the taxpayers of
the City of Anaheim and would be for the best interest and welfare
of the City of Anaheim 'and the residents and taxpayers thereof to
transfer to the treasurer, assessor and tax collector of the County
I of Orange all duties and functions of the City Treasurer and Tax
Collector . and. City Clerk as Ex -officio Assessor relating to the
assessment and collection of City Taxes in the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
I ANAHEIM ORDAINS AS :F OLLOW S :
SECTION 1: That all of the functions and duties of
the City Treasurer, Tax Collector and of the City Clerk as Ex -
officio Assessor relating to the assessment, levy and collection
of City Taxes for the City. of Anaheim including the collection of
delinquent taxes and penalties and the sales of property for non'
payment of taxes be and the sante are hereby transferred to the
County Treasurer, Assessor, and Tax Collector of the County of
Orange pursuant to the pravidons of Statutes, of 1949, Chapter 810'
SECTION 2: That said functions and duties be taken
over and performed by the County Treasurer, Assessor, and Tax
Collector of the County of Orange for the fiscal year 1951-52 and
f or, the succeeding years thereafter.
SE01ION 3: That all taxes collected or received by
the County Assessor, Tax Collector of Auditor of the County of
Orange for and. on behalf ,of the City of Anaheim shall be deposited
with the County Tr4asurer of the County of Orange to the credit of
said City of Anaheim and shall be remitted to the City Treasurer

Assessor and equalized or corrected by the Board.of Supervisors of
the County of Orange or the State Board of Equalization shall be
the basis of levying City Taxes and that said City Taxes ' shall be
collected when County Taxes are collected.
SECTION 5: All ordinances and parts of ordinances
of the City of Anaheim in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance are here'py repealed.
SECTION 6: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordLinance and cause the same to be published once
