ORDINANCE N0.5713 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING <br />VARIOUS SECTIONS OF TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING REQUIREMENTS <br />(SELF-SERVICE LAUNDRIES). <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM HEREBY ORDAINS AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />That Section 18.01.130 of Chapter 18.01 of Title 18 of the <br />Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended (to <br />add a definition for "Laundry, Self -Service") to read as follows: <br />"'18.01.130 `L' WORDS, TERMS AND PHRASES. <br />`Laundry, Self -Service.' An establishment wherein the <br />primary use of the premises is for the self-service washing, <br />laundering or dry-cleaning of clothing and cloth household <br />items in "pay for use" appliances operated by the insertion <br />of a coin, slug, card or token in any slot or receptacle <br />attached to the machine, or by payment to an attendant <br />therein.' <br />`Liquor Store.' A retail establishment in which the <br />primary use is the sale of alcoholic beverages for off - <br />premise consumption. <br />`Loading Space.' An off-street space or berth on the <br />same lot with a building, or contiguous to a group of <br />buildings, for the temporary parking of a commercial vehicle <br />while loading or unloading merchandise or materials. <br />`Lodging House.' Any building or one or more portions <br />thereof, containing not more than five guests where rent is <br />paid in money, goods, labor or otherwise. <br />`Lot.'(1) A parcel of real property as shown on the <br />effective date of Ordinance No. 3484 as a delineated parcel <br />of land with a number or other designation on a plat <br />recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange <br />County; or (2) a parcel of real property, lawfully created, <br />not delineated as in (1) above, and abutting at least one <br />public street, private street with direct legal vehicular <br />access to a public right-of-way, or alley, and held under <br />separate ownership from adjacent property prior to the <br />effective date of Ordinance No. 3484; or (3) a parcel of <br />real property, lawfully created, not delineated as in (1) <br />
