AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO. 99-00-08).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public
hearing and, as a result thereof, did adopt its Resolution No.
99R-242 determining that a change or changes in the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described should be made,
unconditionally.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
THE NORTH HALF OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER
OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH,
RANGE 11 WEST, RANCHO LOS COYOTES, IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, OF
MISCELLANEOUS MAPS FILED IN BOOK 51, PAGE 11 OF PARCEL
MAPS.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE FOLLOWING:
THAT PORTION OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 11,
TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH, RANGE 11 WEST, SAN BERNARDINO
MERIDIAN, INCLUDED WITHIN A STRIP OF LAND 110
FEET WIDE LYING 44 FEET ON EACH SIDE OF THE
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED CENTERLINE:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID
SECTION 11 (THE WEST LINE OF SECTION 13 OF SAID
TOWNSHIP AND RANGE BEARS SOUTH 00 09' 50" EAST,
FROM SAID SOUTHEAST CORNER; THENCE ALONG THE
EAST LINE OF SAID SECTION 11, (SAID EAST LINE
BEING ALSO THE CENTERLINE OF STANTON AVENUE, 60
FEET WIDE, AS DECLARED BY ACTION OF BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF SAID COUNTY), NORTH 0° 11' 10"
WEST, A DISTANCE OF 612.23 FEET; THENCE
NORTHERLY ALONG CURVE CONCAVE WESTERLY, TANGENT
TO THE LAST -DESCRIBED COURSE AND HAVING A
RADIUS OF 2527.00 FEET, THROUGH AN ANGLE OF 190
58' 50", AN ARC DISTANCE OF 881.23 FEET.
THAT PORTION OF SAID EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST
QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID
SECTION 11 LYING EASTERLY OF THE EASTERLY LINE
OF THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED 110 -FOOT STRIP OF LAND,
into the "CL" (Commercial, Limited) zone of the City of Anaheim,
unconditionally.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning
Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in
said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage,
it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this _lith day of Fehruary
2000.
