ORDINANCE NO. 5721 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM <br />AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER <br />10.10 OF TITLE 10 OF THE ANAHEIM <br />MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO <br />WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />That subsections .170, .220 and .250 of Section <br />10.10.010 - Definitions of Chapter 10.10 of Title 10 of the <br />Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are, amended to read as <br />follows: <br />".170 "Recyclable Materials" means any of the <br />following materials, as described in the franchise <br />granted to a Franchisee, contained within a load of <br />source -separated single-family recyclable materials or <br />commercial waste which are in such a state as to <br />constitute recoverable materials: corrugated paper, <br />newspaper, mixed paper, super mix paper, sorted office <br />paper, sorted color ledger, sorted white ledger, <br />computer print-out paper, aseptic packaging, aluminum <br />cans, tin cans, HDPE natural, HDPE color, PET, other <br />plastics, glass, yard waste, wood waste, mixed metals, <br />inerts, and any other type of recyclable waste so <br />designated in the franchise." <br />.220 "Residential Waste Container" shall mean a <br />container having a capacity of either approximately one <br />hundred ten gallons or sixty gallons and furnished or <br />supplied by the City or its Franchisee. Residential <br />waste containers shall be colored black for refuse <br />material, green for recyclable material, brown for yard <br />waste, and such other combinations of containers and <br />colors as deemed necessary by the City Manager. <br />.250 "Yard Waste" shall mean those constituents of <br />Solid Waste comprised of tree trimmings, grass <br />cuttings, plants, weeds, leaves, branches, wood, trees <br />and similar materials." <br />- 1 - <br />
