RA2000/09/19ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA- REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING SEPTEMBER 19, 2000 The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Anaheim, CA met in regular session. Present: Chairman Tom Daly, Agency Members: Frank Feldhaus, Lucille Kring, Tom Tait and Shirley McCracken. Staff Present: Assistant City Manager Tom Wood, City Attorney Jack White, Secretary Sheryll Schroeder, Executive Deputy Director of Community Development, Elisa Stipkovich A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted on September 15, 2000 at the City Hall inside and outside bulletin boards. Chairman Daly called the regular meeting to order at 5:50 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Anaheim City Hall, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: There were no additions or deletions to the agenda. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Linda Lee Grau, Anaheim, asked the Agency to give relief to Anaheim property owners by dissolving the Agency. City Attorney White explained that public comments would be heard under the public hearing at the regular Council Meeting and the Redevelopment Meeting should be recessed to the public hearing Items A 42 and A 43, approval of Disposition and Development Agreements between the Agency and James J. Granger regarding property at 110 N. Rose and a Disposition and Development Agreement with the Agency and Trucor, Inc. regarding South Lemon Street property at the southest corner of Lemon and Water Streets. Chairman Daly moved to recess the Agency to join with City Council at Item A 42 and A 43, seconded by Agency Member McCracken. Motion carried unanimously. The Anaheim Redevelopment Agency reconvened concurrently with the Anaheim City Council at approximately 6:40 PM A41. 5:00 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING: To consider a resolution approving a Disposition and Development Agreement between the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency and James J. Granger regarding Hatfield House (110 N. Rose Street) and making certain environmental and other findings in connection therewith. Mayor/Chairman Daly opened the public hearing and hearing no testimony, closed the hearing. Chairman Daly offered Redevelopment Agency Resolution ARA 2000-4 for adoption. RESOLUTION NO. ARA 2000-3 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY approving a Disposition and Development Agreement with James J. Granger regarding Hatfield House and making certain environmental and other findings in connection therewith. Roll call: Ayes: 5. Noes: None. Motion carried. A43. 5:00 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING: To consider a resolution approving a Disposition and Development Agreement by and between the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency and Trucor, Inc., regarding certain property on South Lemon Street (southeast corner of Lemon and Water Streets) and making certain environmental and other findings in connection therewith. Elisa Stipkovich, Executive Director Community Development, presented the staff report, which is available in the City Clerk's Office. Mayor/Chairman Daly opened the hearing and no testimony being presented, he closed the hearing. Council Member/Agency Member Feldhaus asked about the rehabilitation completion date and Ms. Stipkovich responded that the DDA contained a schedule of performance (Exhibit B) that must be adhered to. She explained that the schedule was maximum dates. Brent Schultz, Redevelopment and Property Services Manager, reviewed the timeline, adding that construction should be completed within a year. Chairman Daly offered Redevelopment Agency Resolution ARA 2000-4 for adoption. RESOLUTION NO.
