REGULAR MEETING OF JUNE 17, 2014
The Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting was called to order on June 17, 2014 at 5:28
P.M. for a joint public comment session with the Anaheim City Council. The meeting notice,
agenda and related materials were duly posted on June 13, 2014.
Present: Chairman Tom Tait and Authority Members: Jordan Brandman, Gail Eastman, Lucille
Kring and Kris Murray.
Staff Present: Paul Emery, Interim City Manager, City Attorney Michael Houston and Secretary
Linda Andal
ADDITIONS /DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA None
PUBLIC COMMENTS: No public comments made during the joint City Council /Housing
Authority meeting related to the Housing Authority agenda.
CONSENT CALENDAR: At 6:15 P.M., Housing Authority Member Kring moved to approve the
consent calendar as presented, seconded by Housing Authority Member Eastman. Roll Call
Vote: Ayes — 5: (Chairman Tait and Authority Members: Brandman, Eastman, Kring and
Murray). Noes — 0. Motion Carried.
1. Approve and authorize the Executive Director of the Anaheim Housing Authority to
execute and administer a Cooperation Agreement with the City of Anaheim and the
Preliminary Funding Award Letter, both in substantial form, for the Lincoln Avenue
AGR -8238 Apartments project and authorize the Executive Director to enter into subsequent
agreements necessary to implement the project, provided that such agreements do not
materially increase or extend the assistance provided by the Authority, under the
Cooperation Agreement or Preliminary Funding Award Letter (Related to Council Item
No. 23).
2. Approve and authorize the Execute Director to execute, administer, and take the
necessary actions to implement a Professional Services Agreement, in substantial form,
AGR -8239 with NMA Inspections, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $196,000, for housing quality
standards inspections.
3. Approve minutes of Housing Authority meeting of May 13, 2014.
