A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AND
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AUTHORITY RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. AHPIA 2014-002
WI�EREAS, on July 22, 2014, the Board of Directors of the Anaheim Housing
and Public Improvements Authority (the "Authority") adopted Resolution No. AHPIA 2014-002
("Resolution No. AHPIA 2014-002") in connection with, among other things, the issuance o��
lease revenue bonds (the "AHPIA Bonds") in connection with the expansion of the Anaheim
Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, on November 14, 2014, the Anaheim Public Financing Authority
issued its Lease Revenue Bonds (Anaheim Convention Center Expansion Project}, 2014 Series A
and its Lease Revenue Bonds (Anaheim Convention Center Expansion Project), 2014 Series B
(together, the "APFA Bonds") to, among other things, finance the expansion of the Anaheim
Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, due to the issuance of the APFA Bonds, the City of Anaheim (the
"City") deems it unnecessary for the Authority to issue the AHPIA Bonds; and
WIIEREAS, the City has made a request to the Authority to rescind Resolution
No. AHPIA 2014-002 and not take any of the actions authorized pursuant thereto; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Anaheim Housing and Public Improvements Authority as follows:
Section l. The Board of Directors hereby finds and determines that the foregoing
recitals are true and correct.
Section 2. Resolution No. AHPIA 2014-002 is hereby rescinded in its entirety and
of no further force �r effect and no action authorized pursuant thereto shall be taken.
Section 3. Each member of the Board of Directors of the Authority, the Executive
Director of the Authority, the Auditor of the Authority, and the Treasurer of the Authority, acting
alone, is hereby authorized and directed to do any and all things in order to effectuate the purposes
of this Resolution.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the Board of
Directors of the Anaheim Housing and Public Improvements Authority this 23 day of
December, 2014, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Chairmaxi Tait, Authority Members Murray, Brandman, Kring and Vanderbilt
