ARA1998-01RESOLUTION NO. ARA98 - i A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE TRANSMITTAL OF AN AMENDED MAP, BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION, AND STATEMENT TO TAXING OFFICIALS AND AGENCIES REGARDING THE WEST ANAHEIM COMMERCIAL CORRIDORS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Anaheim (the "Redevelopment Agency") is proposing to add territory (the "Amendment Area") to the existing Brookhurst Redevelopment Project and change said project name to the West Anaheim Commercial Corridors Redevelopment Project; and, WHEREAS, on January 6, 1998, the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim (the "Planning Commission") was authorized by the Anaheim City Council (the "City Council") to select the revised boundaries of the Amendment Area from within the revised Survey Area designated by the City Council on January 6, 1998, and to formulate a revised Preliminary Plan for the redevelopment of the Amendment Area selected; and, WHEREAS, on January 21, 1998, the Planning Commission, in cooperation with the Redevelopment Agency and the City Council, designated the new boundaries of the Amendment Area and adopted a revised Preliminary Plan for the redevelopment of said Amendment Area; and, WHEREAS, Section 33326 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) provides that the Planning Commission may change boundaries of the Amendment Area with the approval of the Agency; and, WHEREAS, Section 33327 of the California Community Redevelopment Law provides that within 30 days the Agency shall transmit to certain taxing officials and agencies, and to the State Board of Equalization, a map and description of the revised boundaries of the Amendment Area selected by the Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency as follows: SECTION 1: The revised boundaries of the Amendment Area selected by the Planning Commission on January 21, 1998, are hereby approved. SECTION 2: The assessment roll last equalized on August 20, 1997, shall continue to be the assessment roll the Agency proposes to use for the allocation of taxes to the West Anaheim Redevelopment Project.
