AHA-2016/04/12 ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
REGULAR MEETING OF APRIL 12, 2016
The Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M. for a joint
public session with the Anaheim City Council. The meeting notice, agenda and related
materials were duly posted on April 8, 2016.
Present: Chairman Tom Tait and Authority Members: Jordan Brandman, Lucille Kring, Kris
Murray and James Vanderbilt.
Staff Present: City Manager Paul Emery, City Attorney Michael Houston and Secretary Linda
Andal
ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
PUBLIC COMMENTS: No public comments made during the joint City Council/Housing
Authority meeting related to the Housing Authority agenda.
CONSENT CALENDAR: At 7:34 P.M., the consent calendar was approved as presented with
Vice Chairman Kring moving to approve the items, seconded by Authority Member Murray.
ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES—5: (Chairman Tait and Authority Members Brandman, Kring,
Murray and Vanderbilt.) NOES—0. Motion Carried.
1. Approve the Anaheim Housing Authority's application to the U.S. Department of Housing
D155 and Urban Development(HUD)for funding of two existing Section 8 Housing Choice
Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program Coordinators to provide case management
services for low-income families, authorize the submittal of the application to HUD,
subject to award of funding, and authorize the Authority Executive Director to take all
actions consistent with the application.
AHA177 2. Approve the Anaheim Housing Authority's Annual Public Housing Agency Plan for fiscal
year 2016-2017 and authorize the Authority Executive Director, or designee, to execute
the certifications and related documents as required by the Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
AHA177 3. Approve revisions to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan to
incorporate changes that govern the determination of eligibility, methods for investigating
criminal activity, adding additional members to the household composition, and
circumstances under which the Authority will perform interim recertification of income.
AHA177 4. Approve minutes of Housing Authority meeting of January 12, 2016.
