A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency was posted at 11:35 a.m. on September 23, 1994 at the Civic Center
kiosk, containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Daly called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 5:30 p.m.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
$256,785.12 for the period ending September 23, 1994, in accordance with the
1993 -94 Budget, were approved.
ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: There were no additions to agenda items.
ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: No items of public interest were addressed.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA ITEMS: There were no public comments on
Redevelopment Agency agenda items.
1. 161: COMMUNITY ICE CENTER - BASIC CONCEPT LANDSCAPE PLAN AND DESIGN
DEVELOPMENT DRAWINGS:
Approving the Basic Concept Landscape Plan and Design Development Drawings for
the Community Ice Center; and authorizing the Executive Director to approve
the final hardscape color selection in the field and the Design Development
Landscape Drawings.
Submitted was report dated September 27, 1994 from the Community Development
Department recommending that the Agency approve the subject.
Lisa Stipkovich, Executive Director of Community Development. She briefed
staff report of September 27, 1994 referring to the exhibits posted on the
Chamber wall. She then deferred to Bruce Burg of Disney Development.
Bruce Burg, Disney Development /Disney GOALS. He "walked" the Agency through
the landscape and hardscape plans which were included in the posted exhibits.
Lisa Stipkovich. Because it is difficult to get a good materials board for
the hardscape, they decided after many hours of discussion, it would be
necessary first to see it out in the field in large segments to better know
what the colors and materials look like. She is asking that the Agency give
her that authority. She will be consulting with not only their review
architect from ELS, but also with the Design Review Committee which is made up
of Carl McClaren and the Koll Company and Pac Bell and if anyone else wants to
be included in that. It is the only way to judge the color of the material
and how it will look. It will closely represent the colors presented tonight
but if different will be brought back for Agency approval. They have also
asked Disney to look at some other materials besides the painted asphalt
color.

MOTION: Agency Member Hunter moved to approve the Basic Concept Landscape
Plan and Design Development Drawings for the Community Ice Center; and
authorizing the Executive Director to approve the final handscape color
selection in the field and the Design Development Landscape Drawings as
recommended in report dated September 27, 1994 from the Community Development
Department. Agency Member Feldhaus seconded the motion. Agency Member
Simpson was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Daly moved to adjourn, Agency Member Feldhaus
seconded the motion. Agency Member Simpson was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
