Chairman Heinbuch called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - None to report.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
Commissioner Schultz made a Motion to accept the Golf Commission Meeting Minutes of May 26, 2011.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Gaby. Motion passed.
ACTIVITY REPORTS
A. Golf Superintendent
Michael Lautenbach presented his report. Michael Lautenbach expressed gratitude to the Golf
Commission for their support over the past years.
Chairman Heinbuch requested to be invited to the Dad Miller Anniversary event. Michael Lautenbach
stated all current and past Golf Commissioners will be invited.
B. Golf Course Superintendent
Dave Johansen presented his report. Dave Johansen stated the parking lot at Dad Miller Golf Course
will be resurfaced.
Commissioner Schultz questioned if there is a schedule for verticutting greens at Anaheim Hills Golf
Course. Dave Johansen stated that Todd Shank, Valley Crest Golf Course Superintendent, determines
the cutting schedule as needed.
C. Director of Golf
Bob Johns presented his report. Bob Johns also expressed his appreciation to the Golf Commission.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Michael Lautenbach stated in May, the continuing downhill economy and a few rainy days impacted both
golf courses. Michael stated in June, both golf courses are doing well compared to last year.
OLD BUSINESS — None to report.
NEW BUSINESS — None to report.
ADJOURNMENT- Commissioner Keys made a Motion, seconded by Commissioner Schultz, to adjourn the
meeting. The Motion passed. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:19 p.m.
