REGULAR MEETING OF APRIL 10, 2018
The Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting was called to order at 5:28 P.M. in City Council
Chambers located at 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. for a joint public comment session with the Anaheim
City Council. The meeting notice, agenda, and related materials were duly posted on April 6,
2018.
PRESENT: Chairman Tom Tait and Authority Members: Jose F. Moreno, Kris Murray, James
Vanderbilt, Denise Barnes, Lucille Kring, and Stephen Faessel.
STAFF PRESENT: Interim City Manager Linda Andal, City Attorney Robert Fabela, and Acting
Secretary Theresa Bass.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
No public comments offered related to the Housing Authority agenda.
CONSENT CALENDAR: At 8:10 P.M., Authority Member Kring moved to approve the consent
calendar as presented, seconded by Vice Chairman Moreno. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES — 7:
(Chairman Tait and Authority Members Moreno, Murray, Vanderbilt, Barnes, Kring, and
Faessel). NOES — 0. Motion carried.
AHA177 1. Approve Anaheim Housing Authority's Annual Public Housing Agency Plan for Fiscal
Year 2018-2019, and authorize the Authority Executive Director, or designee, to execute
required certifications and related documents as required by the Department of Housing
and Urban Development.
AHA177 2. Approve revisions to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan to
incorporate changes that govern the determination of housing quality standards, rent
reasonableness determinations, reexaminations, and recalculating family share and
subsidy amounts.
AGR- 3. Approve and authorize the Authority Executive Director to execute and administer a
11068 Professional Services Agreement with Overland, Pacific & Cutler, LLC, in an amount not
to exceed $200,000, for on-call professional relocation services to support current and
future housing and economic development needs for a two-year term with two one-year
optional renewals.
AHA177 4. Approve minutes of Housing Authority meeting of January 30, 2018.
