RA2003/05/20II ANAHEIM ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING May 20, 2003 II The Anaheim Redevelopment Agency met in regular session. PRESENT: Chairman Curt Pringle, Agency Members: Tom Tait, Shirley McCracken, Bob Hernandez and Richard Chavez. STAFF PRESENT: City Manager David Morgan, City Attorney Jack White, Secretary, Sheryll Schroeder. A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency was posted on May 16, 2003 at the City Hall outside bulletin board. Chairman Curt Pringle called the regular meeting to order at 5:15 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Anaheim City Hall, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None PUBLIC COMMENTS: James Reade spoke to his being oppressed by various Anaheim Police Department personnel due to speaking out at the Public Comment portion of the Redevelopment Agency meetings. 123 CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS 1 - 4: Agency Member Chavez moved approval of Consent Calendar Items 1 - 4, seconded by Agency Member McCracken. Roll call vote: Ayes - 5; Chairman Pringle, Agency Members McCracken, Tait, Hernandez, Chavez. Agency Member Tait abstained on Item 2. Noes - 0. Motion carried. Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute an agreement with Fabrication Arts, in the amount of $141,572.30, for improvements to the Friendship Plaza. Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Service Agreement with Shaw Environmental, Inc. to increase the maximum compensation to $175,000 for ongoing environmental consulting services relating to the Westgate Shopping Center and Kwikset property. Agency Member Tait abstained. Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Service Agreement with Tri Span, Inc., in the total contract amount of $175,000, to facilitate ongoing City and Agency projects. 161 4.
