The Anaheim Housing Authority met in regular session.
Present: Chairman Curt Pringle and Authority Members Shirley McCracken, Bob
Hernandez and Richard Chavez. Authority Member Tom Tait was absent.
Staff Present: City Manager David Morgan, City Attorney Jack White, Secretary
Sheryll Schroeder, Executive Director of Community Development, Elisa Stipkovich.
A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority was posted on
May 9, 2003 at the City Hall outside bulletin board.
Chairman Pringle called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to order
at 5:35 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Anaheim City Hall, 200 South Anaheim
Boulevard.
ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Alma Rameriz spoke about personnel in the Housing Authority.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS 1 - 3: Authority Member Hernandez moved approval of
Housing Consent Calendar Items 1 through 3, seconded by Housing Authority Member
McCracken. Roll call vote: Ayes -4; Chairman Pringle, Authority Members McCracken,
Chavez, Hernandez. Noes - 0. Authority Member Tait was absent. Motion carried.
Authorize the Housing Authority to apply to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development to administer Special Admission Section 8 Program
Vouchers for 64 project-based assisted units at Westchester Housing located at
125 South Westchester Drive.
Authorize the Housing Authority to apply to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development for $187,500 under a Notice of Funding Availability for three
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program
Coordinators and authorize the Executive Director to execute the required
certifications and application documents.
3. Approve minutes of the Housing Authority meeting held April 15, 2003.
