REGULAR MEETING OF MAY 23, 2017
The Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting was called to order at 5:55 P.M. in City Council
Chambers located at 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. for a joint public comment session with the Anaheim
City Council. The meeting notice, agenda, and related materials were duly posted on May 19,
2017.
PRESENT: Chairman Tom Tait and Authority Members: James Vanderbilt, Kris Murray, Denise
Barnes, Jose F. Moreno, and Stephen Faessel.
ABSENT: Authority Member Lucille Kring.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Paul Emery, Acting City Attorney Kristin Pelletier and
Secretary Linda Andal.
ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
No public comments offered related to the Housing Authority agenda.
CONSENT CALENDAR: At 7:43 P.M., Authority Member Faessel moved to approve the
consent calendar as presented, seconded by Authority Member Murray. APPROVED VOTE: 6-
0 (Ayes: Chairman Tait and Authority Members Vanderbilt, Murray, Barnes, Moreno, and
Faessel; Absent: Authority Member Kring). Motion carried.
AGR- 1. Approve a Residential Purchase Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions with Michelle
10557 Askren, in the listing price of $509,000, for the sale of a Housing Authority townhome
located at 120 S. Hidden Path.
2. Approve and authorize the Executive Director of the Anaheim Housing Authority to
AGR- execute and administer the Memorandum of Agreement -Inter -jurisdictional Mobility, in
7393.A substantial form, between the Housing Authorities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa
Ana and the County of Orange, to extend the current term for an additional five years to
April 30, 2022, as well as implement increased requirements for quality control review of
Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections performed by each agency, adopt a new
electronic document sharing system and to expand the ability to perform HQS
inspections for other Housing and Urban Development funded programs.
Chairman Tait recorded a potential conflict on this item. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES — 5:
(Vice Chairman Vanderbilt and Authority Members, Murray, Barnes, Moreno, and
Faessel). NOES — 0. ABSTENTION— 1: (Chairman Tait). ABSENT— Authority
Member Kring. Motion carried.
3. Approve minutes of Housing Authority meeting of April 4, 2017 and April 25, 2017.

There being no further business, without objection, Chairman Tait adjourned the meeting of the
