The Anaheim Housing Authority met in regular session.
PRESENT: Chairman Curt Pringle, Authority Members: Tom Tait, Bob Hernandez,
McCracken and Richard Chavez.
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant City Manager Tom Wood, Assistant City Attorney Larry
Newberry, Secretary Sheryll Schroeder.
A copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority was posted on
July 3, 2003 at the City Hall outside bulletin board.
Chairman Curt Pringle called the regular meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. in the Council
Chambers of the Anaheim City Hall, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard.
Additions/Deletions to the Aqenda: None
Public Comments:
Alma Rameriz she said that housing was a growing problem and she wanted the City to
maintain high standards.
Charles Forester said he was homeless and on disability and last week Anaheim police
officers said they were going to impound his car and put him in jail. The police said that
there was only a two year HUD waiting list but he had been on the list ten years.
Consent Calendar: Items 1-3, Authority Member McCracken moved approval of the
Consent Calendar, seconded by Authority Member Hernandez. Roll call vote: Ayes - 5
Chairman Pringle, Authority Members: McCracken, Tait, Chavez and Hernandez. Noes
- 0. Motion carried.
Approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute the Cooperation
Agreement, dated July 1, 2003, between the Redevelopment Agency, Housing
Authority and the City for the Vine Street Housing Project (related to Council Item
A29).
RESOLUTION NO. AHA-2003-3 RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING
AUTHORITY authorizing the amendments of the Indenture of Trust and
Regulatory Agreement and the delivery of a Financing Agreement relating to the
reissuance of the Anaheim Housing Authority variable rate demand Multifamily
Housing Refunding Revenue Bonds (Heritage Village Apartments), 1992 Series
A, and authorizing the execution and delivery of and approving other related
documents and approving other related actions in connection therewith.
