AHA-2020/06/09 ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING OF JUNE 9, 2020 The Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting of June 9, 2020 was called to order at 6:06 P.M. telephonically, pursuant to Brown Act related provisions of Governor Newsom's Executive Order N-29-20 (superseding the related provisions of Executive Order N-25-20) in response to COVID-19, in joint session with the Anaheim City Council. The meeting notice, agenda, and related materials were duly posted on June 4, 2020. PRESENT: Chairman Harry Sidhu and Authority Members Stephen Faessel, Denise Barnes, Jordan Brandman, Jose F. Moreno, Lucille Kring, and Trevor O'Neil (all via teleconference). STAFF PRESENT: Interim City Manager Greg Garcia, City Attorney Robert Fabela, and Secretary Theresa Bass ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None PUBLIC COMMENTS: No electronically submitted public comments related to the Housing Authority agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR: At 6:13 P.M., the consent calendar was considered. MOTION: Authority Member Kring moved to approve the consent calendar as presented, in accordance with reports, certifications, and recommendations furnished each Housing Authority member and as listed on the consent calendar, seconded by Authority Member Faessel. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES — 7 (Chairman Sidhu and Authority Members Faessel, Barnes, Brandman, Moreno, Kring, and O'Neil). NOES — 0. Motion carried. AHA177 1. Approve the revisions to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 regarding proposed COVID-19 related updates. DISCUSSION: In response to Authority Member Faessel's inquiry, Community and Economic Development Deputy Director Grace Stepter explained vouchers have been extended for six months. She reported the Section 8 Limited General Housing Choice Voucher list was closed; however, the Project-Based Voucher waiting list is open.
