RESOLUTION NO. 64R- 692
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE MAP AND RE-
PORT OF ROUTES FOR SELECT SYSTEM, AND
REQUESTING THAT SUCH SYSTEM BE APPROVED
BY THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Chapter 1852 of the Statutes of 1963 pro-
vides for the establishment of a select system of City streets
and County roads for the purpose of expending thereon funds
apportioned to the cities and counties from the State highway
fund and the expenditure of matching funds from other sources;
and
WHEREAS, Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways
Code, as adopted by said Chapter 1852, provides for the sub-
mission by each city and county by October 1, 1964, a map
and report of select system routes to the California Highway
Commission for review and approval; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for
review a map and report prepared by the City Engineer to estab-
lish a select system for the City of Anaheim; and
WHER~S, the select system routes on said City map
are coordinated with local contiguous jurisdictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that that certain map entitled '5LAP
OF SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS, CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF
ORANGE, CALIFO~NIA~~' dated September 22, 1964 and that certain
report entitled '~SELECT SYSTEM REPORT - CITY OF ANAHEIM," dated
September 22, 1964, copies of which are on file in the offices
of the City Clerk and City Engineer and incorporated herein as
if set forth in full herein, be and they are hereby approved by
this Council as the Select System of Streets for the City of
Anaheim, under Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the California Highway
Commission be and it is hereb';.~ requested to approve the Select
System as shown on the above-mentioned map and described in the
above-mentioned report, subject to such modifications as the
Commission finds necessary.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer be
and he is hereby' directed to transmit certified copies of this
resolution with the maps and reports to the District Engineer
of the Division of Highways, for transmittal to the California
Highway Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
