A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DEED QUITCLAIMING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real pro-
perty for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to quitclaim the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept a Quitclaim Deed for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim t~at the offer of Anaheim Union Water Company,
A California Corporation, to quitclaim to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated partly within the City
of Anaheim, City of Garden Grove and County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for municipal purposes, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section 23, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.; thence West-
erly along the North line of said Section 23, and the
Westerly prolongation thereof to the Northeast corner
of the West half of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, S.B.Bo & M.; thence Southerly along the East
line of the West half of said Section 22 to the South-
east corner of said West half; thence Westerly along a
portion of the South line of the West half of said
Section 22 to the Northeast corner of the Northwest
uarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, Township
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.; thence Southerly
along the East line of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 27, to the Southeast
corner thereof; thence Westerly along the South line
of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said
Section 27 to the Southwest corner thereof;~ thence North-
erly along the West line of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 27 to the Northwest
corner thereof, said Northwest corner also being the
Northeast corner of Section 28, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, $.B.B. & M.; thence Westerly along the North
line of said Section 28 to the Northwest corner of said
Section 28, said Northwest corner also being the North-
east corner of Section 29, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M.; thence Southerly along a portion of
the East line of said section 29 to an intersection with
a line parallel with and distant Southerly 330 feet (as
measured at right angles from the North line of said
Section 29); thence Westerly along said parallel line
to the East line of Lot 2 of Tract 2735, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 114, pages 26 and 27 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
Northerly along the East line of said Lot 2 to the North

of the North line of said Section 29 to an intersection
with the West line of the East half of Section 20, Town-

of Los Angeles County, California; thence Easterly along
said prolongation and North line of Lots 9, 8, 7, 6, 5,
4, 3 and a portion of Lot 2, all in Block K of the said
Kraemer Tract to the intersection with the West line of
the East half of said Lot 2; thence Southerly along the
West line of the East half of said Lot 2 to the South-
west corner of the East half of said Lot 2; thence
Easterly along the South line of the East half of said
Lot 2 and the Easterly prolongation thereof to an inter-
section with the West line of Lot 42 of the Hazard Sub-
division, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 2, page 2
of Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence
Southerly along a portion of the West line of Lot 42 of
said Hazard's Subdivision to the Northwest corner of
Lot 43 of said Hazard's Subdivision; thence Easterly
along a portion of the North line of Lot 43 of said Haz-
ard's Subdivision to an intersection with a Northwesterly
right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railroad Company right of way as shown on the Map of
said Hazard's Subdivision; thence following along a
straight line in a general Southwesterly direction to
an intersection with the Northeast corner of Lot 20 of
Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 12, page 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California; thence Southwesterly following
along the Easterly line of said Lot 20 to the Southwest-
erly corner of said Lot 20, said Southwest corner also
being the Northeasterly corner of Lot 24 of the Golden
State Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 66
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Califor-
nia; thence Southwesterly along the Easterly line of
Lot 24 of said Golden State Tract, and the Southwesterly
prolongation thereof to an intersection with the North-

east corner of Tract No. 4321, as shown on a Map re-
corded in Book 197, pages 9 through 12 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence South-
westerly along the Easterly line of said Tract 4321 to
the most Southeasterly corner thereof, said Southeasterly
corner also being the Northeast corner of Tract No. 4412,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 155, pages 9 through
12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia; thence Southwesterly and Southerly along the East
line of said Tract No. 4412 and the Southerly prolonga-
tion thereof to an intersection with the Southerly right
of way line of Lincoln Avenue, formerly known as Anaheim-
Olive Road; thence Northwesterly along the Southerly
right of way line of said Lincoln Avenue, as said right
of way line exists this date, July 28, 1964, to an inter-
section with the West line of Section 12, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.; thence Southerly along a por-
tion of the West line of said Section 12 to the Southwest
corner thereof, said Southwest corner also being the North-
west corner of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M.; thence Southerly along the West line of said
Section 13 to the Southwest corner of said Section 13,
said Southwest corner also being the Northeast corner of
Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.,
and the point of beginning of the land herein described.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that parcel of land conveyed to the
Anaheim Union Water Company by deed recorded December 5,
1910 in Book 179, page 200 of Official Records of Orange
County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a Quit-
claim Deed for said property.
