64-661RESOLUTION NO. 64R-661 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMEND- MENT NO. 21 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to the Circulation Element of the Streets and Highways on the General Plan by changing Freedman Way, from Harbor Boulevard to Manchester Avenue, and Clementine Street from Katella Avenue northerly to a point 730 feet north of Freedman Way and thence easterly to Manchester Avenue, as shown on Exhibit "B" duly approved by the Planning. Commission, to collector streets, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, following said hearing thereon the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hear- ing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 21, be adopted by the City Council and that the existing "Table of Exceptions" to the official Highway Rights of Way Plan adopted by the City be amended as follows: Distance from Name of Monumented Street Classification Part Thereof Center Line Clementine Sto Collector From Katella Avenue northerly 1350 feet 60 feet Northerly from Freed- man Way (known as the Clementine St. exten- sion) to Alto Avenue 40 feet (34-foot Road- bed with 8- foot parkway) Freedman Way Collector From Harbor Boulevard 60 feet to Manchester Avenue WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 8th day of September, 1964, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed Amendment No. 21 to the General Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that Amendment No. 21 to the General Plan, amending the Circula- tion Element of the Streets and Highways on said General Plan by changing Freedman Way, from Harbor Boulevard to Manchester -1- Avenue, and Clementine Street, from Katella Avenue northerly to a point 730 feet north of Freedman Way and thence at.right angles easterly to Manchester Avenue, as shown on Exhibit'S" on file in the City Planning Department, to collector streets. should be approved and that the existing "Table of Exceptions~ to the official Highway Rights of Way Plan should be amended as recommended by the Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 21 to the General Plan, amending the Circulation Element of the Streets and High- ways on said General Plan by changing Freedman Way, from Harbor Boulevard to Manchester Avenue, and Clementine Street, from Katella Avenue northerly to a point 730 feet north of Freedman Way and thence at right angles easterly to Manchester Avenue, as shown on Exhibit'~"on file in the City Planning Department, to collector streets, be, and the same is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be, and it is hereby instructed, to amend the General Plan Map to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 21 herein approved.
