OF ANA~IM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE FURNISHING,
mKECTION AND COI~LP~TION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT,
TO WiT: A PREFABRICATED STEEL BUILDING IN THE
CITY PA~tCWAY MAINTENANCE YARD AT 1426 EAST VERMONT
AVENUE, lin THE CITY OF .~NAHEIM~. JOB NO. 899, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH AND CONFORMING IN GENERAL TO
PRELIMINARY PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND ON FILE IN THE
OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER, DETAILED PLANS,
DRAWINGS, CALCULATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS CON-
FORMING THEi~TO TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE BIDDER;
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLER~~ TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING SEALED
PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
~;~HEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
furnishing, erection and completion of a public improvement in
the City of Anaheim, to wit:
A prefabricated steel building with reinforced
concrete foundation and floor, in the City
Parkway Maintenance Yard at 1426 East Vermont
Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 899, in
accordance with and conforming in general to
preliminary plans and specifications prepared by
the Public Works Department of the City of Anaheim,
and on file in the Office of the City Engineer,
detailed plans and specifications conforming
thereto to be submitted by the bidder.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed the Public
Works Department to prepare preliminary plans, drawings and
specifications, and estimates of quantities and costs and make
necessary surveys for the construction of said public improve-
~ent; and
;CHOREAS, said Public Works Department has prepared
said preliminary plans, drawings and specifications for the
construction of said public improvement and has submitted the
same to the City Council; and
;~4E}iEAS, the City Council finds that the preliminary
plans, drawings and specifications for said public improvement
ai~ove mentioned az, e in accordance with good engineering practice
and are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of the City
of Anaheim and the citizens and residents in said area for the
purposes for which they are intended, and that they are adequate
for the construction of said public improvement and should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the preliminary plans, drawings and
specifications for said public improvement hereinabove mentioned
and described be, and the sa;ne are hereby, approved and adopted
as prepared by said ~ublic Works Department.

~trawings and specifications as submitted by the successful 'bidder
and approved by the City Enginee~~, and conforming in general to

cations thereto as may be approved prior to the awarding of bids
