A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING ~L.PROCEEDINGS IN
CONNECTION WITH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
NO. 441 AND DECLARING RESOLUTION NO. 63R-731
NULL AND VOID.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on September 10, 1963,
adopt Resolution No. 63R-731 granting Conditional Use Permit
No. 441 permitting the construction of a motel and four-story
office building, and a waiver of the two and one-half story
height limitation on the property described in said resolution,
subject to certain conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that thereafter, on
July 20, 1964, the City Planning Commission granted Conditional
Use Permit No. 596 (which came before the City Council on
August 11, 1964 and on which no action was taken by the Council),
permitting the conversion of the project or development estab-
lished on the property described in Conditional Use Permit
No. 441 into a 432-unit motel-hotel complex; and
I'~EREAS, Conditional Use Permit No. 596 supersedes
the use granted by Conditional Use Permit No. 441.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that all proceedings in connection with
Conditional Use Permit No. 441 be, and the same are hereby,
terminated, and that Resolution No. 63R-731 be, and the same
is hereby, declared to be null and void from and after this
date.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 18th day of August, 1964.
