A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN
CONNECTION WITH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO.
440, AND DECLARING RESOLUTION NO. 63R-730
NULL AND VOID.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on September 10, 1963,
adopt Resolution No. 63R-730 granting Conditional Use Permit
No. 440 permitting the construction of a one and two-story,
multiple-family planned residential development, with carports,
and waivers of the one-story height limitation, the minimum
space between structures, minimum front yard setback, and
minimum distance between main and accessory buildings require-
ments on the property described in said resolution, subject to
certain conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that thereafter, on
July 20~ 1964, the City Planning Commission granted Conditional
Use Permit No. 596 (which came before the City Council on
August 11, 1964 and on which no action was taken by the Council),
permitting the conversion of the project or development estab-
lished on the property described in Conditional Use Permit No.
440 into a 432-unit motel-hotel complex; and
P~IEREAS, Conditional Use Permit No. 596 supersedes the
use granted 'by Conditional Use Permit No. 440.
NOW, THEiREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all proceedings in connection with
Conditional Use Permit No. 440 be, and the same are hereby,
terminated, and that Resolution No. 63R-730 be, and the same is
hereby, declared to be null and void from and after this date.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of August, 1964.
