A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC ROAD AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES IN,
ON, OVER AND ACROSS CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY,
FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company, a
corooration organized, under the laws of the State of California,
has tendered to the City of Anaheim a "Road Easement" granting
to the City an easement for public road and highway purposes
in, on, over and across the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
Cslifornia, subject to the terms, covenants and conditions
therein set forth:
The Westerly 23 feet of the Easterly 53 feet of
that portion of the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. and M., in the
~iancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said. County, described and
designated ns PARCEL NO. I in the deed to
Southern California Edison Company, dated
August 15, 1961, and recorded on September 20,
1961, in Book 5854, page 457 of Official
Kecords in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, lying Northerly of and con-
tiguous to the Nertherly line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company (Tustin Branch) right
of way, as described in that certain deed
recorded on June 27, 1889, in Book 570, page
288, of Deeds, in the office of the County
~ecorder of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEi~FROM the North 75 feet of the
East 60 feet of said Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of said Section 23.
Subject to covenants, conditions, restrictions,
reservations, rights and easements affecting
the above described property, whether of
record or not.
AND WHEi~AS, the City Council finds that it is for
the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept
said. "Road Easement" this day submitted to the City Council
by Southern California Edison Company.
NOW, THEP~FOKE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the '~Road Easement" this day
tendered to the City 'by Southern California Edison Company,
a corporation organized under the laws of the State of
California, granting to ~he City, but subject to the 'terms,
covenants and. conditions therein contained, an easement for
public road and highway purposes in, on, over and across that
certain real property hereinabove described, be and the same
~Ts hereby approved and accepted.

BE IT FUt~HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to accept said easement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
