FOR THE LEASING OF AN iDENTI-KIT BY THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City of Ansheim is now leasing an Identi- ~.iu from ~he Townse~d Company through the Orange County Peace Officers Associatio~ Inc. for use 'by the Police Department; a ~d !,.~R{Ei~AS~ Cbt Orange County Peace Officers Association, Inc. is negotiating with the Townsend Company for a master lease agreement ~n the ~interest of reducing the cost of posses- sion and use of Idenui-Kits to ~ts members, and has tendered to ~he City Counc~il a form of agreement to be made and entered into by the CJ_~zy aud said Association for the leasing of an identi-Kit for use 'by the City duz-ing the period July i, 1964 to June 30? 1965, at the rental charge set forth in said agree- ment and subject to Uhe covenants and conditions contained therein~, said. asz~eement co ce of no force nor effect if said Orange Councy Peace Officers Association: inc. fails to enter into a n~aster lease agreement with the Townsend Company for the supplying of i~ient~l-Kits and any payments made by the City under said ag~'cemen~c to be ~efu. nded to the City; and ~j~i<EA.$. zhe City Council finds that the leasing of an Identi-Kit from said Association under said agreement will ~'esult in consJ.derab!e savings to tbe City and that it would, c.u~e~.ezo.~e, be to the advaatage a~d for the best interest of the City to ente~_~ l~co said agl:eement with said Peace Officers As soc~l ation. ]NOW, i%iai~uiFO[ih, ~ iT ~.E$OLVED bv the City Council of che City of Anahei~n that the agreement th[s day tendered to the City Council by the Orange County Peace Officers Association, inc., ~o be made an~J ente~ed into by and between the City and said Association for the leasing by the City of an Identi-Kit, upon the terms and conditions set forth in said agreement, in uhe event said Association enters into a master lease agreement with the Townsend Company for the supplying of Identi-Kits as contemplated .in said agreement, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
