A PIESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE
CiTY OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL BIDS P~-
CEIVED AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK
UP TO THE HOUR OF 1:30 P.M. ON JULY 7,
1964, FOR ALL LEGAL ADVERTISING OF THE
CITY REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE PUBLISHED IN
A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION,
PRINTED AND PUBLISHED OUTSIDE THE CITY
BUT IN THE COUNTY OF Of~ANGE; AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RE-ADVER-
TISE FOR SAID LEGAL ADVERTISING; AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 64R-474.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation,
printed., published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, to
wit: Anaheim Bulletin, on the 23rd and 30th days of June, 1964,
a notice inviting sealed proposals for furnishing the followins
legal advertising:
For all legal advertising to be done by the
City of ~aheim, required by law to be pub-
lished in a ne~spaper of general circulation,
printed and published outside the City, but
in 'the County of Orange, for the year commenc-
ing August !, 1964, and ending July 31, 1965,
in conformity ~ith the specifications for such
advertising, which s~ecifications are marked
and designated. '~Spec{.fications for Printing
and Advertising of the City of Anaheim,
Series of 1959," on file in the Office of
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
AND WHEREAS, said notice inviting sealed proposals
for said legal advertising did provide that sealed proposals
would be received by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim up to
the hour of 1:30 o'clock P.M., on the 7th day of July, 1964,
for the furnishing of all legal advertising to be done by the
City, required by law 'to be published in a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and published outside the City but in the
County of Orange, for the year commencing Augnst 1, 1964, and
ending July 31, 1965; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that none of the
sealed proposals received at the Office of the City Clerk up
to the hour of 1:30 o'clock P.M. on the 7th day of July, 1964,
for said legal advertisin~g, required by law to be published in
a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published out-
side the City but in the County of Orange, met the specifica-
tions of the legal notice, and that said bids should, therefore,
be rejected and the City Clerlc authorized and directed to re-
advertise for bids for said legal advertising.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that all bids received up to the hour
of 1:30 o'clock P.M. on July 7, 1964, for all legal advertis-
ing to be done by the City, required by law to be published
in a newspaoer of general circulation, printed and published

outside the City, but in the County of Orange, be, and they
are hereby rejected, and the City 'Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to re-advertise for bids for said legal advertising.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 64R-474
be, and the same is hereby rescinded.
