A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A SEALED PROPOSAL AND
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE
BIDDER WHnSE BID BEST RESPONDS IN QUALITY,
FITNESS AND CAPACITY, FOR ALL LEGAL ADVERTISING
REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE PUBLISHED IN A NEWSPAPER
OF GENERAL glRCULATION, PRINTED AND PUBLISHED
WITHIN THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, publishe~ and circulated in the City of Anaheim, to wit:
Anaheim Bulletin, on the 23rd and 30th days of June, 1964, a
notice inviting seale~ proposals for furnishing the following
I~o__ advertising:
For all legal advertising to be done by the
City of Angheim, required by law to be published
in a newspaper of general circulation printed
an~ published within said City, for the year
commencing August 1, 1964 and ending July 31,
19'~ in conformity w~th the soecifications for
such advertising, wi~ich specifications are marked
and designate~ 'Specifications for Printing and
Advertising o~ the City of Anaheim, Series of
1959, ~' on file in. the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim.
AND ~THEREAS, said notice inviting sealed proposals for
said legal advertising did provide that sealed proposals would
~e received by the City Council of! tI~.e City of Anaheim at the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim up to the hour of
1:30 o'clock ]?.M., on the 7tl~ day of July 1964, for the furnish-
~n~ o.~_ all legal a~.vertising to be done by the City, required by
law to be oublished in a n~spaper of general circulation, printed

!~EREAS, uhe City Clerk of the City of Anaheim did
receive the following sealed proposal prior to 1:30 o'clock P.M.,
on the 7ti: day of July, 19~4, in response to the notice afore-
said inviting sealed proposals, to ~it:

AND WHEREAS, ti~e City Council finds that the sealed
proposal submitted by th~ Bulletin, 232 South Lemon Street,
.Anaheim, California, is the only proposal submitted for said
advertising and is, therefore, t~e lowest responsible proposal
that best responds in quality, fitness and capacity for the
~oublication o.ii all legal advertising of the City of Anaheim
required by' !a~ to be publishe~ in a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed and published inside the City.
