RESOLUTION NO. 04R-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING COMPROMISE
OF CERTAIN EMINENT DOMAIN LITIGATION,
AND DIRECTING THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST
ON JUDGMENT ENTERED THEREIN..
WHEREAS, there is pending before the. Superior
Court of Orange County, Case No. 106288, entitled "City of
Anaheim vs. William G. Abbott, et al. ," under which the
City is condemning certain easements for highway and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, Judgment in said Superior Court action
was rendered on March 26, 1964 ordering, payment to certain
defendants from sums on deposit with the Court, and further
ordering the City of Anaheim to pay to defendants interest
thereon as required by law in the amount of $194.99; and
WHEREAS, Final Order of Condemnation cannot be
recorded until payment of said $194.99.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Finance Director be, and he
is hereby, authorized and ordered to pay to each of the
following defendants in said Superior Court Action, the
sums set forth after their respective names:

W. G. Abbott, Jr.
Estate of William Gerrard
Abbott, Deceased

and he is further authorized and directed to turn said war-
rants over to the City Attorney's Office for delivery to
said defendants.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 31st day of March, 1964.
